Becky Sullivan was taught to sew by her mom at the young age of six and has been creating garments ever since. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2006 and went to work at Nordstrom. While working closely with clothing designers she realized her passion for design. Becky left her job in 2007 to study in the Apparel Design program at Seattle Central Community College where she graduated in June of 2009.
In February 2009 Becky won the Seattle Fashion Week Comcast Student Design Competition, netting her a coveted spot amongst 15 presenters at Seattle Fashion Week where she debuted her collection. Becky also took part in the Seamless in Seattle student designer competition and won the opportunity to be a featured designer in the September 2009 issue of Seattle Magazine. As a part of her winnings, she also showed a mini collection at the THAW Fashion Show on May 7th 2009.
